NDAA Passed Last Night

As reported in DefenseNews, “In a vote that ended around 11:40 p.m. Thursday, the chamber voted 84-15 to pass the 2014 national defense authorization act (NDAA), which clears the Pentagon to spend $607 billion, including $527 billion in base funding and $80 billion for America‚Äôs global operations.”

The bill authorizes DoD to spend about $98B on procurement.
